A Monotype print is the printing of an image from an unworked surface containing no scratching, carving or drawing. A Monoprint is a one-off print, created through any individual or combination of techniques, woodblock, lino, etching etc. Each print is different from the other, as the Artist works the plate individaully, adding colour or wiping the ink differently each time a print is pulled.
